The Kern family takes pride in our heritage and traditions in the greater Dayton area, dating back several generations when we were one of the four founding families in Germantown. We are equally proud of the honors given to Carl B. Kern, who dedicated his life's work to serving youth.
On behalf of the surviving members of C.B.'s descendants, I would like to express our family's appreciation and support for the efforts leading to the development of a 'Carl B. Kern Fund'. We have reviewed the details of this fund and agree with its stated purpose and implementation. We hope that through this fund, the Kern name will provide leadership and inspiration to the area's youth for many generations to come.
